If I purchase Go-Concept Internet
service, will there be a charge for setting up my Internet
connection settings?
If we have your computer in the shop for
service at the time the service is purchased from G0-Concepts,
we will not charge for basic setup. If the computer is located
in your home, we will have to charge an on-site service fee to
do this. Remember, Go-Concepts has a very good technical
support staff available for free telephone support at 382-1900.
I just purchased a new sound card, or
video card from another store. How much will you charge to
install this hardware?
We will charge you our current bench
rate. If you purchase hardware through our store, we have the
ability to waive, or reduce this fee.
You replaced a piece of hardware to fix
a problem I had with my computer. Within three days the same
problem turned up. What will I be charged?
There will not be a charge for the
hardware if it is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.
Applicable labor charges will still apply unless the computer is
under a maintenance contract with Computer Network Pro.
I purchased software from you that will
not work on my computer. What obligation do you have to get it
to work?
We can advise if the software will work on
your computer, based on the requirements of the software, and
having the information on your computer specification. But, the
software manufacturer is ultimately responsible to have a
working product. We cannot guarantee software will work on any
machine. So, based on this, we are not obligated to get the
software to work. We are willing to help, but we will have to
charge you according to our fee schedule.
Does the software or hardware I
purchased from you include installation?
Unless we have quoted a price to you, and
stated that installation is included, the answer is no.
Applicable fees will be applied.
Will you show me how to use the
software, or hardware I purchased from you?
Unless this has been specifically stated
in a written quote, the answer is no. Most software and
hardware comes with a user manual. If not, the information is
readily available on the Internet.
I purchased my first computer from
you. Will you show me how to use it?
If time permits, we can answer any
questions you have over the phone, but we do not currently offer
computer training out of our office. Any technician on staff
may accept to do this, but you will be charged according to our
fee schedule.
I purchased a computer from you, and it
stated that it included setup & delivery. Can you explain what
is included?
We will physically deliver the computer to
your location. We will also remove the equipment from their
boxes, and make all necessary connections for the system to
function. This includes keyboard, speakers, mouse, monitor, and
power. We will connect any other peripheral devices only if they
have been purchased from us. This does not include software
installation, or data migration from another computer. This may
be accomplished, if requested, at our current fee schedule.
Do I get a free month of Internet
service with my computer purchase?
You will only receive this if the sales
person has quoted it to you in writing.
Can you tell me what a depot warranty
means?
The office for Computer Network Pro is the
depot. Any problems with the computer, you bring the computer
to us, and we send it back to the manufacturer to be repaired.
Fortunately for you our training and certifications allow us to
perform most repairs in our shop with inventory on hand, or with
replacement parts sent by the manufacturer. This allows for a
faster turnaround to you. The warranty only covers the original
hardware installed at time of purchase. The warranty does not
cover labor charges that may be incurred during the repair,
unless the unit is covered by a Computer Network Pro maintenance
agreement. The warranty does not cover any software issues.
